FlowGuard^® Bendable
Installation Guidelines

FlowGuard^® Bendable is a patented, multi-layer CPVC/metal composite pipe from Lubrizol, a global leader in CPVC technology. The pipe consists of an inner layer of CPVC, a middle layer of butt-welded aluminum and an outside layer of CPVC. All of the layers are bonded with an adhesive, specially formulated to withstand water temperatures up to 180°F. The pipe is tested to applicable tests in ASTM F1281 and D2846 standards.

Assembly of this pipe incorporates a sleeve fitting and the standard FlowGuard Gold^® CPVC fitting. The FlowGuard Gold^® one-step CPVC cement is used for both fittings.
